Transfer F-1 Visa

步骤1: Complete the Collin College Application for Admission 

 

Collin College does not issue PRE-OPT, nor do we provide STEM OPT recommendations for students with a previous STEM degree of a bachelor's or higher. We only offer STEM OPT recommendations for Collin College's STEM Cybersecurity bachelor's degree 程序.

International student applications must have accurate student information, including your foreign country address to issue an I-20 (foreign country address cannot be a p.o. 框).

 

Step 2: Official TOEFL (institution code: 6805) or IELTS scores must be submitted with the following minimum scores:

               TOEFL--internet Based Test (iBT) score 71
                雅思,6.5 or higher
               or
               TOEFL exemptions

TOEFL/IELTS scores will not exempt you 从 the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) needed to determine your college placement. For more information about TSI Assessment and exemptions, click here.

 

English as a Second Language Program (ESL)

TOEFL or IELTS scores for the English Language Program must be submitted with the following minimum scores:

                雅思——4.5 (4.0 minimum in each skill)

               TOEFL iBT 32 (8 minimum in each skill)

步骤3: Complete the F-1 Intention to 应用 和 provide supporting documentation (English translation required) for at least one of the following:

Personal Savings	Bank statement showing balance equal or greater than $26,000 dated within 6 months of application deadline.
Parents, relatives, friends, or U.S. 赞助商	Letter of guarantee 从 sponsor 和 Bank statement showing balance equal or greater than $26,000 dated within 6 months of the application deadline.
Your Government	Official letter confirming type and amount of financial aid.

 

步骤4: 提交 transcripts 从 所有 U.S. 学校.  只有 official transcripts 从 U.S. 学校 will be accepted. 

步骤5: A copy of the front page of your passport showing your name, country of origin, and the expiration date of the passport with a minimum of 6 months validity.  Addition所有y, the International Students Office will need a copy of the following documents:

               > Current I-20

                > I-94

               > Visa

                > Financial documents (as indicated 从 Financial Information Worksheet)

               > ISO Local or Foreign Address form

        
步骤6:  的 Status Verification form Form must be completed by current International Student Advisor

Please Note: Students who are OUT OF STATUS, or have below a 2.0 GPA will not be granted transfer admission. 

 

第七步: Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine is required of 所有 students who are under the age of 22 at least 10 days before the start of the semester.
